When applying a context file to a transient case with a different length, the available time steps correspond to the case that was used to create the context file in the first place. To re-use a context file for comparable cases with different length, you can edit the context file (*.ctx) with a text editor and add a single line at the end: solution_time: set_end_to_max This applies to ANSYS EnSight 2019 R1, R2 and R3. For earlier versions the command is slightly differ-ent: solution_time: zoomout The attached document describes the process how to get to this line and why it is required in more detail.
