Heat Transfer

How many cells should I use through the thickness of the solid in a CHT (conjugate heat transfer) problem?

If the solid is just intended to transfer heat from one fluid to another one, using a resolution of 1-3 cells would be enough. If you want to capture the temperature gradient through the solid to perform some FSI calculations (or with any other purpose) then more cells will be needed. The exact number depends on the accuracy you want to obtain.
