How can I add mass to a model without increasing the stiffness?

      You can add a point mass which will insert a MASS21 element. A MASS element will add mass to the model with introducing any extra stiffness (right click Geometry object>>insert point mass). More info can be found at ANSYS Help>>Mechanical User’s Guide>>Specifying Geometry>>Point Mass.
