History Tracking (Previously Block Recording) is an interesting tool, that can be used for replaying operations or workflows after a CAD update or in parametric scenarios. Modeling and/or physics changes are recorded in script blocks. As you perform operations, they are recorded in steps, with each step representing a script block that can be used to recreate that part of your workflow.

The video illustrates how you can use this feature.

Note: History Tracking is available when you are in the Model, Explore, and Refine stages. It is not available:

      • in the Refine stage, when using multiple simulations,

      • when multiple window tabs are open,

      • when using the Script Editor.
