FAQ – Share Topology is now available in Discovery 2021 R2
Share Topology option is now available in Discovery 2021 R2 in the Prepare Tab.
Share Topology helps to identify the geometrical entities that get shared among bodies that are in contact. It helps to achieve conformal mesh where bodies are connected and is the way to be certain that the intersection of bodies is meshed properly.
For now Share Topology exists in Discovery but only limited to applications that can be transferred to Mechanical/Fluent/WB. It is not intended to be used in Explore and Refine mode.
