ParticipantThe Contact condition enables you to manually define one or more contacts, a type of connection between surface bodies. By default, Discovery automatically generates contacts and sets them to bonded. You can review these generated contact pairs in the Bonded Contacts (default) review tool.
This series of video tutorials explain everything you need to know about contact definition in Ansys Discovery.
- Contact Management in Discovery:Â In this video tutorial, we will see how you can use the contact review tool, to manage the autogenerated contact pairs in Ansys Discovery. From here, you can change the contact definition or modify the behavior.
- Contact Grouping and contact detection distance in Ansys Discovery: In this video, you will learn how you can additionally split the group into individual per-body contacts, or if a single contact references multiple face pairs, split it into individual face pairs.
