The Ansys Innovation Space website recently experienced a database corruption issue. While service has been restored there appears to have been some data loss from November 13. We are still investigating and apologize for any issues our users may have as a result.

In Discovery Analyze mode, the simulation is performed using High fidelity solvers which require mesh in the computational domain.

When you click the Solve button, the physics region is meshed as per the mesh settings defined.

To view the generated mesh, you need to click “Show Mesh” button located near the Solve button in Results Arc. See below snapshot.

However, you won’t see the generated mesh immediately when you click the Show Mesh button. Once the simulation proceeds beyond 50%, the mesh becomes visible. The progress of the simulation can be seen in the Simulation Information Display (SID). When more than 50% of the hexagon boundary becomes green color, the generated mesh gets displayed in the geometry. See below snapshot.
