      If you have one long curve that wholly encloses two short curves, Duplicate curves removed curves that are completely enclosed. If two curves partially cross each other, they will split each other because we’re not sure which segment should be removed. To summarize: If curves are totally enclosed, they disappear. If curves are partially overlapping, curves get split
