      Typically, people install the license server on a different machine from the one on which they install SpaceClaim. However, yes you can install the floating license server and the SpaceClaim software on the same machine. The only difference is that in the client setup portion of the floating license setup, when you are prompted to enter the flex license server IP address, you enter “localhost” instead of the IP address (since you are trying to run SpaceClaim on the server machine itself).
