      1. If the machine is running a Windows operating system and ANSYS licensing is running locally on the machine. 2. Edit each ANSYS license file on the machine. Replace any reference to the name of the machine. With the generic name, localhost. Save each modified license file. 3: Edit the file, C:Program FilesANSYS IncShared FilesLicensingansyslmd.ini Replace any reference to the name of the machine. With the generic name, localhost. Save the file. 4: Stop then start the ANSYS licensing.
