Question: What should I do if some of the licenses that are installed on the license server are not showing up in client license preferences even though I reread license server and also reset client license preferences? Display license status shows the features

Answer: Check if the installed license file has extra line breaks and remove the extra line breaks. Please use a text editor which can show non printing characters the line endings might show CRCRLF instead of CRLF or just LF i.e. If license file includes rrn instead of rn or n line endings. Replace the rrn with rn Note: Opening the file in Internet Explorer should show the extra line breaks. A text editor such as Notepad++ may be used show the extra line breaks exist in the file. Windows Notepad may show the license file correctly Microsoft Word to may show only one Paragraph mark character at end of each line. Wordpad may show the license file as wrapped text. Alternatively you can request ANSYS support for a fresh copy of license file sent as a zip file
