We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

How can I solve an electrical conduction problem in which my materials have anisotropic electrical conductivity?

To do this, create a user-defined scalar transport equation for electric potential. This equation will have only a “Conduction” term. Setting up this equation will require a conduction-type property to be set for each material. This property represents the electrical conductivity and is presented as “uds-conductivity” in the property listing for each material. The options for this material include anisotropic specification. Please see attached document for setup details.
