When I import an STL file into CFD-Post or EnSight for post-processing, the results don’t look correct. Why is this? What can be done?

Default STL meshes usually contain very large facets with high aspect ratios. As a result, when data is interpolated onto the STL mesh in CFD-Post or EnSight, the results don’t look correct. This can be avoided by refining the STL mesh in SpaceClaim. The attached recording shows how this is done.
