Meshes can be converted to faceted geometry in ICEM by reading them back in as .uns files: 1. Import the mesh into ICEM. You can manipulate any regions at this stage by selecting elements and putting these into different families etc … 2. Save the project once mesh is imported and you have created the desired families ( this will create a .uns file) 3. Import Geometry> Faceted> ICEMCFD Mesh (this will prompt for .uns) 4. Select .uns file and import.
