We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

Why does the Design Tool tell me that all boundaries in the morphing region are fixed or have prescribed motions defined?

After converging the adjoint and setting up the morphing region, I select “Calculate Design Change” and get the following in the TUI: > Checking adjoint setup… Done Computing the design change. All boundaries in the morphing region are fixed or have prescribed motions defined. ** The user-specified Freeform Scale Factor is not used in this calculation Observable pressure-drop has a decrease in value specified as the objective. The specification of an objective and prescribed motions on all boundaries is incompatible. ** Objectives for observables will be ignored. Even though the bounding box looks fine visually, double-check the regions extents. If the min and max values are flip-flopped, you will get this message. I.e., the max must be greater than the min for a given coordinate extent.
