With the in-built thin wall option in Fluent, radiation heat transfer calculations are not performed across the wall thickness. The total heat flux (convective + radiative) received on one side of the wall is transferred to the other shadow wall (or interface) assuming 1D conduction through the wall thickness. If you intend to model the narrow fluid gaps using this option, the fluid thermal conductivity will only be accounted for.
