FAQ
ParticipantThe following error occurs when installing ANSYS Workbench 11.0 SP1 for UG NX6 service pack from the Customer Portal on a Windows Vista machine: The module “C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCad IntegrationUnigraphicsNX6IntelDSPlugInUG6U.dll” failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found. The module “C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCad IntegrationUnigraphicsNX6IntelAGPSUtilU.dll” failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found. Why are the plugins not registering? This behavior occurs because the UnigraphicsNX6 folder is being placed in an incorrect location when installing the service pack on Vista machines. Create a folder called UnigraphicsNX6 in the C:Program FilesAnsys Incv110AISOLCad Integration folder. Then, copy the “startup†folder in C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCAD Integration intel, as well as AGPSUtilU.dll, into the UnigraphicsNX6 folder that you have just created. Then go to: C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCAD IntegrationUnigraphicsNX6intelstartup and run regNX6.bat. You should get messages that the DSPlugInUG6U.dll and AGPSUtilU.dll have been successfully registered. Next, go to C:Documents and Settings
Application DataAnsysv110Unigraphicscustom_dirs.dat and add the following line: $AWP_ROOT110AISOLCAD IntegrationUnigraphicsNX6$ANSYS_SYSDIR Start Unigraphics and you should see ANSYS 11.0 in the menu. You can then delete the following: C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCAD Integration intelstartup C:Program FilesANSYS Incv110AISOLCAD Integration intelAGPSUtilU.dll
