You will need to go through FE Modeler 1. Write an unstructured mesh from ICEM CFD first 2. Insert an FE Modeler component and when “add[ing] input mesh” select the extension as “ICEM Input (*.uns).” In 14.5, you can link the model cell of the ICEM CFD system to the model cell of the FE Modeler system, and this will automatically import the current mesh. 3. Open FE Modeler and right click on “Geometry Synthesis->insert->Initial geometry.” 4. Left click to drag the model cell of the FE Modeler system to the model cell of the Simulation analysis system. 5. “Update” the model cell of the FE Modeler system before “Edit[ing]” the model cell of the analysis system.
