When getting the following error message in Fluent Meshing: Error: arg(3rd) out of range in substring Error Object: 6 then this is due to the length of labels. All labels need to have a minimum length of 4 characters. This applies to Named Selections from DesignModeler as well to Groups and objetc names from Spaceclaim DirectModeler. The issue is fixed for 2020 R2.
