Why are unphysical vortices forming around triple-points in a hexahedral mesh with O-Grid topology?

The different mesh connectivity at triple points (or in general for non-orthogonal meshes) may require you to change the gradient calculation in elements. Set the parameter “gradient jacobian type=2” or “linearly exact numerics=t”, which includes the former one, to improve accuracy. However, this may fail if there are degenerated elements in the mesh. In this case, try importing the mesh in CFX-Pre with duplicate node checking activated.
