The error message “No control surfaces have been found for the domain interface” indicates that during the solution process a gap is created between the 2 sides of a GGI interface, which is larger than the element size. In the Domain Interface the Face Intersection Depth Factor can be set under “Mesh Connection” -> “Intersection Control” to handle this issue. This parameter should be set to achieve the following: Element Size * Intersection Depth Factor > interface gap
