Answer: In rare cases when a network drive is used as a home drive home path, (due to reasons not yet completely understood) there can be issues starting FLUENT or Icepak. As a workaround please try using a 3 line batch file like the below to start FLUENT standalone and Workbench. The batch files can be saved to a preferred location or the desktop and be double clicked on to launch FLUENT or Workbench using an alternate location for HOMEDRIVE and HOMEPATH.
