How to define volumetric source for only a part of the mesh (part of one cell zone) without using a UDF?

      Use an adaption register (adapt -> region -> mark) Separate cells (mesh -> separate -> cells -> register and zone) Define source term in new cell zone. Note, the larger part (by volume) of the cell zone retains the original label, and the smaller part will be labelled (for example) fluid:042 If a UDF is written a source can be applied to a selection of cells without the need to split the mesh.
