This video demonstrates how to use the mapped mesh technique in ANSYS Fluent release 16.0. This technique is useful in many applications, such as automotive under-the-hood simulations, where heat transfer is an important consideration. A simple conjugate heat transfer (CHT) simulation is examined, followed by a review of the results of a real-world automotive under-the-hood example. ANSYS Fluent computational fluid dynamics CFD software includes well validated capabilities to deliver fast, accurate results for the widest range of simulations.
