SubscriberHello,
I am working on a project where I have to analyze the pressure, flow and temperature response of the oil film inside an industrial journal bearing, the oil film is aprox 1m in dia and the thickness is 1mm.
I could not mesh it as a single body so I created a multibody part, shared the topology as well, and i got an acceptably fine conformal mesh. all theÂ
However, fluent does not read the file and mesh properly. it omits out faces, and considers them as contact interfaces, so my named selections only appear partially. I recieve multiple instances of the following error:"Note: zone-surface: cannot create surface from sliding interface zone.
Creating empty surface."
I am attaching the images of my workflow. PS I have not modelled the outlet named selection for now since i have reworked the geometry multiple times and it is a little tedious, i can add it later.

Ansys EmployeeHello Hrushikesh,Â
have you tried using Fluent Meshing for this model? The handling of interfaces might be more robust in Fluent
