SubscriberWhen I use workbench 2023R2 do Y-ring sealing simulation, The set hydraulic pressure(use APDL command loading hydraulic pressure 7Mpa) loading area as below:
But when the simulation done, the force on hydrostatic pressure loading area are not all the 7Mpa(I set),as below:
So,the results are not correct. The max contact pressure 6.87Mpa is Smaller than 7Mpa:
Does anyone have any experience with this and can guide me?Thank you.

Ansys EmployeeThese posts are handled by mostly English speaking and writing people. Your images make it more difficult to respond because the Mechanical Outline is not in English. In the 3rd picture, what is the result being dislayed? A von Mises stress is not the same thing as a pressure even though they have the same units. It doesn't have to match your input pressue exactly. If you reported normal stress in the solution coordinate system, and the pressure was applied as a follower, then I think it's reasonable to expect the values to agree.
In the 4th image, is this contact pressure? There is nothing to enforce contact pressure on the vertical surface to be the same as your top surface. That would happen in a fluid substance. You could expect the same pressure only at the one point where your load touches your cntact, and it is pretty close at that location: 6.87 MPa. So that looks to be within reasonable error.
