Hi everyone,
I would like to ask, using LS DYNA, is it possible to use xfem shell to model a crack inside a larger solid elemented body?

Hi I would suggest to post this in the LS-Dyna forum (this forum is for 3D design, SC, Discovery).

Hi Joseph,Â
I guess you can progress to do that as long as the xfem shell is correctly coupled and the crack is only in the shell not in solid though.Â
Cheers, RamÂ
