Subscriber I have License of Ansys mechanical research and CFD 19.2 and also I downloaded Ansys workbench Lsdyna but when I am installing it is showing an error.
So how can install workbench Lsdyna is it needed to install ACT extension R18 which is the only available current version of workbench lsdyna, or there is another way to add Lsdyna workbench in Workbench 19.2.

Thank you in advance!

Ansys EmployeeHi viv123,
The Workbench LS-Dyna, has been included in the main installation for the past few versions, so you don't need to install extra ACT extension anymore. Don't try to install the extension from other/old version in the new version of ANSYS.
The main concern would be whether you have a license to run it. See this post for the full list of licenses
/forum/forums/topic/in-ansys-r1-version-it-is-free-to-use-ls-dyna-in-workbench/
If you do, you just have to open Workbench -> ACT Extension , then enable the LS-Dyna extension.
Thanks,
Win

SubscriberWhat's about installation Ansys LS-DYNA for Ansys Workbench 2020 R2, academic student version. I see it is loaded on the toolbox customization after checking in extension manager. But the LS-DYNA is not showing over the toolbox. n
