Wind Load on Building

      Hello Experts,

I am an engineering student and am trying to learn/use ANSYS and would appreciate any guidance you give me.

My goal is to model a 3D building to see the force distributed by wind. For example, I would like to change the wind speed for the different hurricane categories to see how it affects the force on the building. Which ANSYS software/settings would be best for this? I was thinking about using ANSYS Fluent, do you have any good articles on this type of design?  Thank You!!

You can, and I'd use Fluent. However, with storm and higher wind speed the fluctuating component can become very significant so getting a single speed/force value may not be possible.  I've run models on more common wind speeds, and I know there are articles in literature; I don't have any references to share.

Thank You Rob for your advice. I will try to look for articles in the literature space.
