SubscriberHello all,
Recently I am faced with a problem in MSMD battery model. As showed in the following figure, the option "enable joule heat in active zones" disappears, meaning that I cannot enable joule heat in cell zone. You may think that it can be enabled as default, but in my simulation, the active zone had no joule head source.
I found this option appears in tutorial chapter 31 and help 28.2.3.1. Did I miss anything to setup? Or is it a version problem? My fluent version is a student version, 2023. Please tell me how to start this!

Figure in help, chapter 28.2.3.1
Thanks!

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Enable joule heat in active zone is not present in GUI in 2023. To turn it on you can use TUI command in the console: /define/models/battery-model
Thank you

SubscriberWow! It shows in TUI when I entered "//define/models/battery-model> model options", and I managed to enable the joule heat in active zones! Thanks for your advice!
This option is still not present in the GUI, I will keep searching for the answer about how to enable it in the model settings, that can be really convenient.
