Successfully installed Ansys 2021 R1 license manager on server and 2021 R1 client software on client but cannot open Chemkin on client....Error message text: "License CheckOut Failed:...FLEXlm Error Message:...Failover feature 'ANSYS CHEMKIN UI' is not available. Request name rd_ckui does not exist in the licensing pool. No such feature exists. Feature: rd_ckui License path: [email protected]; FlexNet Licensing error: -5,147"...Tested connection to server from client in Ansys Licensing Client Settings 2021 R1 and got a green check mark...Can open Chemkin from other client PCs still running 2020 R1...Screen shots attached of error message, command prompt log that opens with error message, and verification of server-client connection in Ansys Licensing Client Settings...Thank you very much for your help.

I would make sure that the license manager is running 2021 R1 or later of the license manager.
Also, I would make sure the latest license file is installed.
The one you posted does not have the Chemkin feature, but the latest one does.

Hi Geo Yes, the license manager is 2021 R1. (I always update the license server I maintain before updating the client software, and, that said, I just double-checked it again anyway.)
Yes, the latest license file is installed on the license manager, and it is the one I posted. We have been using the same license file successfully to open Chemkin and other Ansys products since we received it last fall. (Our license lease runs Oct.1 to Sept. 30, and we have not made any changes to our license since we initially purchased it years ago.).
I am not going to pretend to understand license files, but our client PCs currently running 2020 R1 can still open Chemkin. How can that be if Chemkin is not listed in the license file currently installed on the our license server? (I double-checked that I posted all the Increments in our license file. I did.)

Licensing has changed at 2021 R1. Please request the latest license and install it.
You should then see the rd_ckui Increment line.

This is not directed at you Geo, but I have to say it: It would have been nice if Ansys sent us a new license file when they changed the licensing. That would have saved me 3 weeks and much aggravation.
