SubscriberHello. I have an entitlement through my university. I was able to activate the entitlement and download the license file. But now I am unable to actually download the products. All instructions I can find are pointing me to the download center in the customer portal. However, when trying to access, I am being denied with the message from screen shot below. Urgently looking for help downloading and installing the software, as my entitlement expires on May 2nd (!). It was meant for me to try the software to see if it works for my thesis research, before purchasing a license....

Forum ModeratorIf you could download a licence you should be able to download software. Can you contact your account manager? Or failing that, "contact-us" from ansys.com using your Uni email address and including the site ID (in the licence file).

SubscriberThank you for the response. I am unsure who my 'account manager' is... Can I look this up the licensing portal or anywhere else ? I do have an ansys contact person, but they just referred me to this forum. Seems like because it is an academic account ?

Forum ModeratorFor a technical discussion they're correct. However, we can't help you as we don't know who, or where, you are and this is a question of licencing: you have a trial and that can mean the Portal entitlement isn't set. Please give me their name & your Uni address and I'll see what I can do, I'll delete your reply once I have the information.

Forum ModeratorDone, given the time difference I may not see anything until tomorrow (my time) as I'm in the UK.
