SubscriberHello,
I am using supercritical co2 from the NIST database at a very high operating pressure of 7.9 Mpa. I have used discrete heat sources and solving it using pressure-based coupled solver. The residuals start oscillating after some time and when I activate the pseudo transient method then only it is converging. But when I activate the pseudo transient method at the very beginning and initializing the simulation.. it is not converging. Is it wrong to activate pseudo transient method in the middle of the simulation when the residuals start oscillating?

Ansys EmployeeSometime only coupled option and some CFL tuning might behave better.
