What steps should I take to set up a wave height meter in Fluent?

      Hello everyone,

I want to use the Fluent Setup section to set up a wave height meter to measure the water level in each cabin.

The picture below is a cross-section of my boat.

The DB2 cabin will be flooded by water.

Before water enters the cabin, it is filled with air.

The steps of the method I currently use are as follows:

Setp1.After entering Setup, I created an Iso-surface in the cabin of DB1.

      Setp2.On top of the Iso-surface I already created, I made another Iso-surface.

Setp3.I create an Iso-clip on the Iso-surface in the z-Coordinate.(The phase needs to be changed to water. Min=0.5~Max=1)

The method I used did not record the water level changes in the report.

Can you suggest any other ways to resolve this problem?

      Thanks????

Please can you post images showing what's going on with the flow? Also, what are you reporting on the final surface?

Steps 1 and 2 will result in the situation shown in the picture above.

The situation depicted in both steps 3 and 2 is identical.

The calculation will be displayed with an error shortly after starting.

(Error:Run can not be started until validation issues are resolved.)

What is the domain that you're modelling? What are you trying to report on the line?
