Hi all, during my simulation, I saw the following message poping up, but seems has no influence on simulation. 

I googled, but no clue, anyone knows? Thanks.

Hello,

RPC is a Remote Procedure Call. Which version of Fluent are you using? Do you get the following messages in the Console before those that you are showing?

To avoid getting these messages, please try the following:

Open the Ansys installation folder.
~/.ansys/v231/ApipUserConfig.txt 
(Here, replace 231 with an appropriate value)
Verify that the following lines are included:
ANSYSProductImprovementProgram=off

Thanks. I use 2022R1. I do not know, as it is a transient simulation for few days. I just saw the message by chance, not sure something already happened earlier. 

But, I do not see such .txt in my installation folder.

You can find the printout from the Console in the session's transcript file (.trn). You can find this file in the session's working directory. Please see if there are any messages prior to this RPC call.

Thanks. No other message. "RPC RCX_MESSAGE: RPC: Timed out" appeared 23 times. This message never comes alone, either 2 or 3 times in a row. 

Which file should I change?

Actually, if you do not see that Ansys Product Improvement Program message, the RPC call might not be related to this. So need to look for the files suggested previously.

May I ask how are you running this simulation? Are you running it locally on your machine or submitting a job on a hpc cluster?

It is run on a local machine.
