I would like to ask that the following PC configuration is enough for Mechanical and CFD simulations? I have a working PC and a home PC, so please help me to decide, where to install the licenced client or is it these differences matters in the case of ANSYS? The WORK PC would be preferred.
PC Specifications (WORK):
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3 8100 @ 3.60 Ghz (4-Core)
- RAM: 2x2GB DDR4 2400Mhz
- GPU: Intel UHD Graphics 630 (Integrated on CPU, 2GB)

PC Specifications (HOME):
- OS: Windows 10 64-bit
- CPU: Intel Core i3 9100F (4-core) @ 3.60 GHz, TurboBoost at 4.20 GHz
- RAM: HyperX 2x8GB DDR4 2400Mhz
- GPU: MSI GTX 970 4G Gaming (4GB)

Please take a look at the list here. This should provide you with a good idea of what's recommended to run Mechanical and CFD simulations. Please take a look at the form factor section.

The WORK computer only has 4 GB of RAM, which is very small for ANSYS.
The HOME computer has 16 GB of RAM, which is much better for ANSYS.
The WORK computer has simple graphics.
The HOME computer has an NVIDIA GPU which is much better for ANSYS.
The CPU is about the same between them.
Based on the above, you would be better off installing ANSYS on the HOME computer.
