We all know that a junction diode is a semiconductor device consisting of a PN structure. It is one of the most basic and common types of diodes. The PN junction is made of a P-type semiconductor and an N-type semiconductor through a specific process. In the PN junction, through the process of diffusion and drift, the holes in the P-type semiconductor will diffuse to the N-type semiconductor, and the electrons in the N-type semiconductor will diffuse to the P-type semiconductor, forming a depletion region. There is a built-in electric field in the depletion region, making the potential of the P region higher than that of the N region.

In electromagnetics, junction diodes find various applications ranging from rectifiers used in power supplies (AC/DC conversion) to mixers or detectors in RF circuits. Could you please provide us with more information about how do you intend to use them in order to get you more tailored information?
