SubscriberHello, does anyone have an Idea about the Wear Simulation in Ansys Workbench not in Ansys APDL?
I have heard that with new Version of Ansys its possible to directly use Wear Tool from Ansys itself. If yes how one should do that?
Do I need any Extension for that?

RahulDahiwal is interested in two solid parts rubbing together and is posting in the Sturctural Mechanics section.
You mention Fluent and there is a Fluid Dynamics section where I see you have also posted. I have answered your question there.

Subscriber Hi @peteroznewman,
I wanted to do wear analysis of revolute joint using archard model. In ansys I find that there is a need of act extension required. Can you please let me know if I can get act extension for archard model on student version.
Thanks and Regards
