SubscriberI'm running a simulation of a pipe carrying steam at 200°C. The surroundings are much cooler, at 26°C, so some steam might condense. I've turned on the VOF multiphase model to account for this, but when I initialize, in some nodes, I'm getting an error saying the latent heat cannot be less than 0. Do you know what this might be due to? Do you have any advice to solve it?

Forum ModeratorCheck which phases are set as from and to in the multiphase panel. Fluent doesn't know which is gas and which is liquid so there's a convention to follow: chances are you've got them the wrong way round.Â
You also need to read up on the VOF model as tracking a free surface for a film will need a lot of mesh.Â
