Dear all,

 

I'm using Fluent 19.2 poly-hexcore module for mesh generation.

The question is in the poly-hexcore mesh generation module there is no direct option for volume mesh control.  So I am wondering is there anything I can do to control the max cell length?

PS. During the poly-hexcore mesh generation process, there is a hint from the console panel likes:

VolumeFillControls: .....(HexMaxCellLength : xxx)......

If you're using the new Clean CAD workflow there's an option in the volume mesh section.

max cell length is available for poly hexcore.

I think you mean "Min Cell Length" ?

When you open Fluent Meshing click on the Workflow and then Clean CAD Workflow. Do not import anything first: the approach has been added to simplify using Fluent Meshing for many users but allow extra bits to be added by advanced users.

Thanks for the reply. But I couldn't find the Clean CAD Workflow and there only Watertight Workflow option. Is that a beta feature?

By the way, my Fluent version is 19.2.0.
