What does "volume/mass of a cell zone" mean in fluent? I have a 2d planar simulation and in Fluent---->>>Report Integrals section it calculates non-zero values for mass and volume in fluid and solid cell zones, how are these values calculated in a 2d geometry with zero thickness? Whereas in Design modeler, it returns zero for volume.

In Fluent it's not zero thickness. We include a thickness to allow volumes etc to be calculated: it's in the 2d part of the manual.Â
