SubscriberHi,
Greetings of the Day!!
Layered elements has it own local coordinates system. How to view for each element in ansys workbench. I am able to do in ansys with help of /PSYMB command, also in ansys workbench after the solution I am able to plot Element triad but without solving not able to visualize the local coordinate system. Is there an option to visualize the elemental local coordinate system before solving?.

Ansys EmployeeYou cannot view before solving in workbench Mechanical since these elements are not actually created until the APDL solver input file is written at the time of solution.
Depending on how complex the layering you want to setup, if you use Ansys Composite PrepPost (ACP) to set up your layers, you can view and orient the coordinate systems for each layer. This application is usually used for layups of orthotropic materials in a composite fiber and matrix material.
