i am trying to simulate a solid structure with a hollow section which vibrates at eigenmodes or any selected frequency while the structure has a fluid inlet at the bottom I'm struggling to do this, I have found the eigenmodes and performed modal analysis but I'm not sure how to combine this with a fluids study so that I can see how the frequency of vibration affects the fluid in the structure, I imagine I need to use some sort of coupled system but I have had no success with this so far any help would be appreciatedÂ

Hello Anthony,
I recommend going over these tutorials in the Ansys documentation that shows a 2-way FSI simulation with Fluent and Mechanical.
Analyzing FSI with ANSYS Fluent and Mechanical - Part I (youtube.com)
Analyzing FSI with ANSYS Fluent and Mechanical - Part II (youtube.com)
Hope this helps!
