Does anybody know what the X and O symbols mean when viewing via currents (Iv) in the results of an DC IR Drop Simulation? I could not find it in the documentation.

The "X" symbol represents current flowing into the via and the "O" symbol represents current coming out of the via.

Thanks. Is there a document or webpage I can use to findout all these small details. The offical documentation I found using the help menu seems to gloss over a lot of the details.

The "X" and "O" symbols for representing the direction of current flow are the same conventions as used in any standard textbook on circuit theory. This notation isn't specific to the tool and is a universal symbol used to indicate current flow. However, explanation to any notation that is specific to the tool is already provided in the help documentation.Â
