Ansys EmployeeHi, could you provide more details about your question?

SubscriberI am trying to simulate 3phase induction motor in MotorCAD. I am getting phase current as 360 Amp in MotorCAD.Â
But when i am exporting it to Maxwell 2D, I am getting the phase current as 422Amp. Because of this variation in current, all the output parameters are changing. I got Torque as 6995 Nm in MotorCAD whereas in Maxwell it is coming around 7990Nm. The losses are having a big difference too.

Ansys EmployeeThe current should be close between Maxwell and MotorCAD, could you compare an example from MotorCAD with exported Maxwell? Are the results close with example file on your end?

SubscriberHi, I have tried an existing template in motorcad and there are no much deviations in the results obtained from Motorcad and Maxwell. This problem is persisting with the 3 phase induction motor which was modeled in motorcad.
