Hi guys,
can I use 3D models from paid software?
I use this software at work and I would like to import some models so that I can learn from them. Is it allowed?

The Student software is to allow you to learn the tools. So, as long as you're not using any of the output, or developing methods for your work it should be OK. T&C's are covered here, https://www.ansys.com/academic/terms-and-conditions and my comments do not supercede those.

I only want to use it because It is easier to model it in solidworks than in Ansys.
Thank you for your answer!

Fair enough. You'll need to use one of the Step/Parasolid/IGES formats to transfer the geometry. Licenced versions have readers for more CAD formats. You also need to read up on Share Topology in the Discovery geometry tool: that and adding surface labels (Named Selections) are the only things you can't do in CAD without the readers.
