HelloÂ
I am working on creep and recovery of viscoelastic materials. I am going to use prony series for the both creep and recovery phase of my model. We know that in Ansys we must either use experimental shear data and fit with prony series or do fitting seperately and enter the relative mudula (ai) and the time (tau) for any terms of Prony series. For the creep there are some creep models such as Norton in which when we enter the coefficints we can use "Creep Control" feathure in our analysis. But , we can't use such a this model with prony series at the same time and it will conduce to an error that we are not allowded to use another model with Prony series.Â
Now, the question is that: When we use Prony series , there is not any "Creep Control" feature under Analysis settings, and it wil just be appeared when we use the creep models such as Norton. How to activate creep control when using Prony series? If it is not possible and it just capture the relaxation phenomenent, how to use a creep model with prony series at the same time?Â
Â
Thank you in advance!

Hi,
I think your query is answered here and I will close this topic.
Dont see Creep control when using Prony Series (ansys.com)
