SubscriberDear all,
I have run two different load cases and now I need to check the difference of "Maximum principal stress" between these two load cases (let`s say installation load and ultimate load).
I knew that user defined result can only be done within one load case.
Is there any possible way to create user defined results on different simulations?

Ansys EmployeeHi
One could use the Solution Combination tool inside mechanical (go to Mechanical tab Model, and you will find it there - or RMB click on the Model in the tree, and choose solution combination, or use help/search at the top right of the UI to search for it).
All the best

SubscriberThanks for your support.
I just have done with that way.
Fortunately, my problem does not include multiply/divide.
I found that solution combination tools can only add/subtract the result by changing the load factor (+1 / -1).
Can we multiply/divide in this also?

Hi
Check trough the solution combination tool properly and find tutorials as it can do what you need (difference between two different times/steps).
Search the internet for more info on how to use this tool, and the help manual.

Ansys EmployeeJust to add one can also add user define results with previous results (step2 and step1) with their identifiers to do what you need also.
Identifiers step2 is the reult at step end time 2, and step1 the result at step 1. Search more for identifiers and user define results if needed on the forum or on the internet.
