Subscriberuse steady result as the initial condition of the transient simulation but required initialization
In Workbench 18.2,I firstly simulate the steady condition using S-A.Then I du the steady "setup" and then open the new "setup"  .In the new Fluent ,I change into transient and want to calculate but it required  initialization

Ansys EmployeeFluent will check for available data if you connect Solution of B with C. That marks its initialization.

SubscriberSo as a result, if I want to run the simulation like this ,how I should do? Now I know the common solution is that I can run the steady simulation and then in the same "Fluent" I change it into transient. Can I get my result ?
Best regards,

Ansys EmployeeIf you want in container C to use the B as initialization just connect B Solution to C solution.

SubscriberAll right! Just the connection between solution and solution! I will have a try!
Thank you very much !
