SubscriberHi friends, here is Paolo Lazzarini, user from ITALY, Officina Stellare.
I was looking for a sort of practique guide to the use of superelemets in a relatively complex telescope system made of a "fork" and an "optical tube" assembly.
Can someone drive me to some basic tutorial to start making myself an idea about this approach ?
I need a way to simplify the cuping of the dense model of the telescope onto the fork mount, at different elevation, without remodelling each time the telescope itself.
Thanks, paolo

Hi
To start, you can first search for condensed parts in mechanical help (normally they are used in modal super pos. analysis MSUP).
We do not have anything here on AIS (course) – but here is one: https://blog.ozeninc.com/resources/bottom-up-substructuring-using-cms.
If you need more detailed help and an example perhaps, contact your channel partner.
All the bestÂ
Erik
